Waist Hold: This hold could be used for grappling as well as obtaining pin falls. It could be countered very easily by Face Clawing, or Ankle Grab, it was one of the most widely used moves in UK wrestling.

The Arm Lever: It was a highly effective move that could not be countered easily. It was so versatile that, it could be used for both ground wrestling and normal wrestling. Some times attackers sat on the opponents while applying the hold, thus ensuring an easy submission fall for them.
